Article Abstract

[This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] A multiple objective approach to process capability optimization is described. Key input and output variables are identified and examples are provided. Two techniques investigated are: finding the mean shift that optimizes various output performance objectives and finding a mean shift and variation change that optimizes profitability.
