Article Abstract

Jointly with the 7th Asia Pacific Quality Organization Conference: SQD paper

With 1000 trained Black Belts, 113 Master Black Belts, 115 Champions, nearly 1000 Green Belts, and over 2500 active projects, DuPont has embraced the Six Sigma methodology. The result has been sustainable growth in productivity and knowledge. Working project by project with a bottom - up approach, the company draws on no corporate staff but relies on its business champions and provides motivating rewards and recognition. DuPont's financial growth has risen with the number of trained leaders and implementation of the design for Six Sigma.
