Article Abstract

[This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] A method is described to identify the most important quality characteristics of software products by means of a risk assessment. Completion criteria are defined and software quality characteristics are measured using the ISO 9126 standard. A case study is described during which the method was applied to the testing of copier/printer controller software at Oce Technologies, a Dutch manufacturer of copying and printing equipment.
