Article Abstract

In an interview with Six Sigma Forum Magazine editor A. Blanton Godfrey, Honeywell executives discuss how they made Six Sigma the change engine for success and how their employees see the world. CEO Larry Bossidy introduced Six Sigma at AlliedSignal in 1994, before that company merged with Honeywell in 1999. The success of that Six Sigma program is evident in savings of over $2 billion and a 988 percent growth in stock price. Six key Six Sigma leaders explain how they incorporated the program into the company's business and culture, and how they keep the commitment alive.
