Article Abstract

[This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] The steepest improvement technique, designed for the continuous improvement of compensating air gauges, was used in the development of a new dimensional air gauging technology. The procedure progressively produced air gauge designs that significantly reduced the setting time. The final design requires further investigation.
