Bound statistical tables are being replaced by software for personal computers. The accompanying BASIC program is based on work done by Dwass (1979) in which he derived a general distribution that included the binomial and the hypergeometric distributions as special cases. He also provided a 20-line, bare-bones BASIC program that yields both binomial and hypergeometric values. The program output was illustrated with an eight-place table of binomial probabilities. The program given here uses the same logic but a user-friendly format. The output provides a handy tabular format for the probabilities of both distributions. Examples illustrate the uses of these tables.
