Comparing Variability of Two Measurement Processes Using R&R Studies

Abstract: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Two measurement processes are compared using two methods based on statistics commonly computed in repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) studies. Results indicate that the Cochran method is better than a modified large sample method in conditions typically encountered in R&R studies, and in studies where operators are randomly selected, more than three operators must be sampled to provide useful results.
