Communiqué Reiterates End of ISO 9000 Transition Period
In a joint communiqué, the Chairs of the IAF, ISO/TC 176 and
ISO/CASCO strongly reaffirmed the deadline for transitioning to ISO 9001:2000.
The communiqué makes clear that IAF members will not permit registrars
to maintain ISO 9001/2/3:1994 certificates after the December 15, 2003,
deadline. The communiqué is reprinted.
