The Process Approach: Auditing a Process and an Objective
In the third part of a series on issues related to the auditing
of a QMS and its processes against the new requirements of
ISO 9001:2000, Bart Solomon and John Stratton write that the
auditing of a process and the auditing of an objective are
the key differences between the auditing of a QMS against
ISO 9001/2/3:1994 and against the 2000 edition. They show
how to audit the process approach and the objectives and examine
what you need to do to bring the audit results together in
reaching conclusions about the QMS.
