2 Registrars Report Heavy TS Transition Activity by Leaders

Despite the extended period for most automotive suppliers to make the transition from QS-9000:1998 to ISO/TS 16949:2002, two IATF-contracted registrars have reported a sizable increase in transition activity since the start of 2003, particularly among market leaders. They provide their perspectives on ISO/TS 16949 registration and aspects of the transition process that organizations should keep in mind and their recommendations on how to pursue the transition process.
