How Do You Audit the Process Approach?
Bart Solomon and John Stratton writer that there has been
much discussion about the changes in requirements from ISO
9001/2/3:1994, but not enough regarding the change in the
nature of a QMS with ISO 9001:2000 and how it is to be maintained
effectively. In the first part of a series on QMS auditing
to ISO 9001:2000, they explore this change and why understanding
it is critical to the successful auditing of an ISO 9001:2000-based
QMS and to changing the nature of internal and external audits
themselves.
