ISO 9001:2000: Section 6 Adds Emphasis on Resource Management

Jeanne Ketola and Kathy Roberts write that organizations may assume that Section 6, Resource Management, of ISO 9001:2000 simply replaces ISO 9001:1994’s 4.18, Training, 4.1.2.2, Resources, and two requirements in 4.9, Process Control. They provide an in-depth examination of the four activities in Section 6 and what will satisfy the resource management requirements in each activity.
