Harold Kay

Harold Kay is president of Harold Kay & Associates, a management consulting firm providing consultation, organizational assessment and results-based training for building high performance organizations. He emphasizes assisting clients in improving work systems, solving problems and gaining competitive advantage through clear organizational objectives, business process optimization and skills training.

Mr. Kay assists with Greenfield plant start ups in high performance mode, organizational transformation to high performance, continuous improvement methods and statistical processes, and the development of task team applications to generate fast and effective response.

Mr. Kay is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences on topics related to employee participation and has served as judge in several regional and national team competitions. He has published articles on management's role in employee participation and measurement of problem solving team performance in the IAQC Journal, Quality Circle Digest, and AQP's Annual Conference Transactions.

Mr. Kay is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in chemistry. He is a board member of Excellence in Mississippi state quality conference and is a board member of the Quality Council for the State of Mississippi . He serves on the teaching faculty, Certification and Education committees of the Association for Quality and Participation. Harold is a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Society for Quality, the Association for Quality and Participation, the American Society for Training and Development, and the American Statistical Association.
