Summary: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] The development of a true "cooperative" style of working relationships is accomplished through "total" internal cooperation of all members of an organization, including management "team" members. The intent of a "cooperative" environment is to diminish internal "competition" and enhance internal "cooperation," often referred to as a "win/win" process. Product/service reliability and efficiency depends on a management and leadership system that actively involves the worker/service provider. The shift toward a "cooperative" environment would be consistent with a workplace capable of world-class products and services.
