Larry McInerny

Larry McInerny has been in quality control for manufacturing for over twenty years. Since 2003 he has been a Senior Inspector for Advanced Inspection Services in Plymouth, Minnesota. At AIS he programs and operates CMMs and vision inspection systems for inspection of customer parts from a variety of industrial sectors including medical, aerospace, and agricultural equipment.
He serves as a mentor and instructor to the less-experienced inspectors in the lab and helps instill best practices in everyone in the organization.
Larry has been an ASQ certified Quality Technician since 1995. He has taught the ASQ CMI/CQI refresher course for over 10 years. He also teaches PC-DMIS programming and has taught other quality-related courses at Dakota County Technical College and elsewhere in the Twin Cities area as well as in outstate Minnesota and North Dakota. In 1989 Larry retired from the U.S. Navy as an Avionics Senior Chief after 22 years of active duty. During his Navy career he logged nearly 10,000 flight hours as an air crewman working on aircraft electronics systems.
A Minneapolis native, he currently lives in Coon Rapids, Minnesota with his wife, Marge. He has two adult daughters and two granddaughters. He enjoys boating, fishing, and travel in his spare time.

Donnell V. Charles
Donnell Charles is a Quality Specialist for the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) located in Maryland. In this role, he serves as the quality control and assurance subject matter expert on Biodefense projects and is responsible for the quality assurance, compliance of ISO 17025 & 9001, and Improvement program for The National Bioforensic Analysis Center. His duties include maintaining the Improvement Process system, equipment calibrations and conducting audits/inspections to ensure compliance to Good Laboratory Practices, and ensuring that ISO requirements are maintained for NBACC.
A native of Washington, DC, Dr. Charles graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Morgan State University (1996). He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University (2003), and graduated with a Doctorate of Public Health from Columbus University (2006). Additionally, he is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ-CQA), ASQ Certified Quality Manager (ASQ-CQM), ACLASS Associate Certified Laboratory Auditor, and Certified Provisional QMS Auditor (RAB-QSA).
Dr. Charles lives in Maryland with his family.
