A process improvement team within Loyola University Health System used Lean Six Sigma to improve medication delivery. You’ll go through the steps taken by the team and the tools that the team used. You’ll also learn about the efforts to expand on the tool-based approach by developing and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Presenter: Greg Horner is an operational excellence leader at Loyola University Health System. As a member of the Department of Operational Excellence, he is part of a team that is leading Loyola’s lean transformation to create efficiencies and flow in the organization.
Greg plays an integral role in the lean transformation at LUHS as an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has five years experience in leading process improvement teams and more than 25 years of experience in operations management. Greg has a B.A. in operations management. He is currently earning a master’s in enterprise improvement and innovation from DePaul University.
