Task Force to Develop Business Plan (PDF, 19 KB) – February 2008
As a result of the 2008 February ASQ board of directors meeting, ASQ’s International Transformation Task Force has been directed to develop a business plan to define how the Society will increase the service it provides to North American members and members of the global quality community.

ASQ Members Favor Further International Expansion – November 2007
A recent ASQ survey indicates that 80 percent of respondents favor ASQ becoming more global and advancing a local presence in countries outside of North America. Of the 1,555 respondents, a majority said that interest in quality management and control is growing moderately to  substantially.

ASQ Marks International Successes – October 2007
ASQ’s International Transformation Task Force will advance the Society’s commitment to global quality. Plexus Consulting Group, LLC, of Washington, DC., will conduct a global study to evaluate ASQ’s current international strategy and activities. International successes thus far in 2007 – ASQ hired its first ASQ staff member in India, created and conducted five international webinars, translated nine certification exams, and introduced nine Spanish sessions at the 2007 World Conference on Quality and Improvement.

President’s Message on International Transformation – September 2007
ASQ President Mike Nichols has written a letter to the ASQ membership about the importance of ASQ’s Global Transformation initiative as led by the Task Force established a year ago. The letter includes a link to a presentation on ASQ’s global accomplishments in the 2007 fiscal year. Nichols invites all to contribute their points of view and insights on the topic.
