The division has a team working on the 2002 Energy and Environmental Conference, to be held in August 2002 in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are still negotiating with a couple of hotels, which have both offered us government rates. Please watch for an announcement of the exact dates and conference hotel in the near future.

The 2002 conference will be organized around three tracks:

• Auditing Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Systems
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Systems
• Greening Your Organization

We plan to feature executive panels on all three mornings of the conference and provide 15 technical sessions, along with technical committee meetings. We also expect to offer three post-conference workshops.

2002 promises to be a great technical conference in an enjoyable environment. Please watch for further information.
