Hands-On Learning: Managing an Investment Portfolio

Abstract: Just over a year, Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo developed a student-managed investment class. The class is intended for senior-level finance students and MBA students with finance concentrations manage. In the class, students work with an investment portfolio valued at more than half a milllion dollars to gain valuable hands-on and real-world learning experiences.
