Taking STEPS to Promote STEM Careers

Abstract: The Univeristy of Wisconsin-Stout is a polytechnic university that offers a large number of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) majors. To encourage girls to consider engineering as a career, UW-Stout offers STEPS, Science, Technology and Engineering Preview Summer Camp. There, students experience STEM fields at an early age.
