What do you think is most important in implementing a Six Sigma project?
The define phase. When you pull together your project’s resources, scope and target, and run them through the define phase, you know if your project will be successful or not.
Why do you think Six Sigma is important?
Six Sigma is important because it links quality to financial results in a transparent way, improving the relationship between management and quality professionals.
Why do you think quality is important?
Quality is key for a company to be competitive in the market, since customers do not want to have troubles with things they are paying for.
What’s your favorite benefit of quality?
Improving customer satisfaction.
Why did you choose to go into the quality field?
For two reasons: I like interacting with customers and helping solve their problems, and second, quality allows me to work with several areas and departments.
What’s your best advice to someone new to quality?
Learn as much as you can about quality tools. Apply the tools, and teach your mistakes and successes to others.
