Kathryn Roberts is the CEO of The BlueWater Group, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in business system analysis, development, implementation and training. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from NC State University and has over twenty years of experience in industries including automotive, medical, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, aerospace, electronics, textiles, industrial paper, chemical, and utilities.
Kathryn is a past member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group that is responsible for developing and approving international management system standards for the United States. Kathryn is a past Section Chair and a past Regional Councilor for the American Society for Quality, a past Examiner for the North Carolina Performance Excellence Process, and a past Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
Kathryn is an international best-selling author of three books: ISO 9000:2000 In a Nutshell (translated into Japanese), ISO 9001 Management Responsibility In a Nutshell (second edition - revised for ISO 9001:2008), and Correct! Prevent! Improve! Driving Improvement Through Problem Solving and Corrective and Preventive Action (second edition - revised for ISO 9001:2008) (translated into Spanish).
Kathryn is a national and international speaker on topics of business and management. Kathryn works with early stage growth companies as well as large international organizations in operational assessment, operational analysis, ISO 9001:2008 implementation and process improvement initiatives.
