Dr. Joseph Twanmoh is the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at St. Agnes Hospital, and an Assistant Professor at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Twanmoh studies the causes of ED overcrowding and seeks creative solutions. For the past 20 years, Dr. Twanmoh has held clinical and administrative positions in Emergency. This experience gives him a unique perspective of healthcare with respect to patient safety and flow.
